Tempted To Try Tempeh (Carrots and Cabbage Cumin Spiced) Tacos!!
Are you a little scared to try tempeh? Or wondering what the f@$& tempeh is? Tacos are the perfect way to try new foods, because tacos always taste good (I’ve only said that once or twice). If you don’t know what tempeh is, I will tell you, but you have to promise not to be scared and to still try it. Promise? Ok…tempeh is…Look at how yummy these tacos are first!
Sooo…tempeh is a fermented soy bean cake. Some times it has grains or seeds added to it as well. I promise it tastes good. Like other fermented foods, it contains healthy bacteria that help build up your own gut flora and make this food easier to digest (yay no farting for you). Anyway, give this recipe a try. It’s quick and super cheap to make so if you hate it, which you won’t, you won’t have wasted much time or money.
Happy Taco Tuesday!

PS. Tempeh is easily found at your regular grocery store. It is either with the produce near the tofu or in the “health food” aisle if they have a refrigerated section there.
